Grades 3-5
ELEMENTARY RETREAT
Youth Retreats at Cross Roads combine fun activities, Bible study, worship, delicious food, and time spent outside to create an awesome weekend for youth and their adult leaders.
Grades 6-12
MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT
Gather for an amazing weekend at Cross Roads. Whether a long-time summer camper or a first time participant, attendees are guaranteed to have a wonderful weekend filled with activities, worship, and laughter.
Note on Chaperones: Every youth participant is required to have an adult chaperone attend the entirety of the retreat with them. For youth groups registering together, one adult chaperone is required for every 8 youth. If a chaperone is not able to attend, please contact the Cross Roads office to see if a staff member is available for an additional $50 charge.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Participants sleep in our Lodge, Beisler Center, or Log Cabin. Pictures of these buildings can be found here.
These buildings are dormitory style, requiring participants to bring their own bedding. Each room is supervised by adult chaperones and camp staff.
The schedule varies depending on the retreat. Below is a sample schedule for your reference.
Friday:
7:00 pm: Check-in
Get to know you games / large group session with chaplains / small groups with other youth close in age
10:00 pm: Time for bed!
Saturday:
8:00 am: Breakfast
8:45 am: Morning Worship
9:30 am: Large group with chaplain
10:00 am: Small group time (Same groups all weekend. These will have activities and discussions related to the theme for the weekend. During the Elementary Retreat we typically have rotations during this time.)
11:00 am: Camp game!
Noon: Lunch
1:00 pm: Rest hour, chill time
2:00 pm: Large group with the chaplain about the theme!
2:30 pm: Activity period 1 (the participants sign up for these at lunch. The activities vary depending on the weather but could include arts & crafts, rock wall, nature activity, board games, etc.)
3:40 pm: Snack time
4:15 pm: Activity period 2 (same as activity period 1, just different activities!)
5:30 pm: Dinner time
6:30 pm: All Camp Game!
7:30 pm: Small groups!
8:30 pm: Campfire
10:00 pm: Bedtime
Sunday
8:00 am: Breakfast
8:45 am: Small groups
9:30 am: Closing worship
10:30 am: Time to go!
Participants will have the opportunity to do a variety of activities while attending the retreat. These include small groups, arts & crafts, nature activities, rock wall, camp games, singing, Bible study, and other activities related to the theme for the weekend!
Every youth participant is required to have an adult chaperone attend the entirety of the retreat with them. For youth groups registering together, one adult chaperone is required for every 8 youth. The retreat begins on Friday with check-in at 7 PM and concludes after closing worship on Sunday at 10:30 AM. Please make sure that your participant eats dinner before arriving for the retreat on Friday.
