Bold Transformational Faith
A partnership to bring faith formation tools and resources from CAMP to your CONGREGATION
In 2020, outdoor ministries Luther Crest Bible Camp (MN) and Cross Roads Camp and Retreat Center (NJ) teamed up together to create a program that takes the tools that we learned from camp to your congregation. Bold Transformational Faith provides distinct faith formation experiences to inspire an active faith in a rapidly changing world.
During Summer 2020, both camps had to get creative to connect with campers despite not being able to gather in person. We learned a lot while carrying out our digital programming. We learned best practices for connecting with youth and adults in the digital age. We learned how to spend our time wisely, get creative, and be open to new ways of doing things. And most importantly, we learned that when it comes to sharing the Good News about Jesus Christ, people are eager to hear!
In Fall 2020, Cross Roads and Luther Crest teamed up to invite congregations to join BTF for virtual Sunday School program. Dozens of congregations joined BTF for its first year. Keep reading to learn more about what BTF offers, or visit our website to explore all the details!
WHAT WE OFFER
Depending on the needs of your congregation or family, BTF provides packages that include everything from original Sunday School curriculum to leading weekly Sunday School, from providing Children’s Sermons to sending your family a packet of resources. Learn more here.
The Spring 2022 curriculum theme is “Should It Out” and will begin on January 9, 2022. Reach out to our staff to get involved!
Check out the BTF Podcast — a way to get Sunday School “on the go.” Check it out here or wherever you listen to podcasts. New episodes are uploaded every Monday that are less than 15 minutes long and great for kids of all ages and for families to enjoy together. They are a great preview of all the great content you receive as part of the BTF bundles!
The Bold Leadership Training (BLT) program is designed to help congregational teams build relationships and develop ways of working together that will enliven the mission and ministry of the congregation. With years of experience building cohesive teams in outdoor ministries, Anthony Briggs (Cross Roads) and Dave Holtz (Luther Crest) will facilitate learning and growth among your congregational leadership council, clergy, and staff. Read more about this program on the BTF website.
BTF isn’t a one size fits all program. We want to serve the needs of your congregation. The BTF team will work with you to develop a plan that meets the needs of your congregation and will accompany you as we put that plan into action. Learn more at mybtf.org.
